Before becoming President of the Americas in 2008, 15-year telecommunications professional Richard Brolly served PCCW as a consultant for five years, supporting EMEA sales and operations activities, as well as voice projects in the US.

He previously worked for Teleglobe as Vice President in charge of EMEA regional sales, marketing and planning. In establishing Teleglobe as a regional Internet connectivity leader, Richard played a role in forming joint ventures in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His career also included tenure as Vice President, leading EMEA operations for Sprint’s Global One alliance with Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom.

Richard graduated from Manhattan College New York City (NYC) with an Honors BSc in Economics before earning an Accounting MBA at Pace University, NYC.
